COMMUNITY
Community Impact Statement
Green Store are committed to investing in our local communities and working in partnership with local residents and businesses. We are delighted to be working with the local community in Suffolk. We want to provide long-term value to the community and believe that “we can create value by creating place”.
Our proposals include the creation of at least 70 new jobs, all of which allow for flexible working as part of our new initiative to make jobs work for you. The Government has announced that workers will have the right to request flexible working from Spring 2025. Green Store have anticipated this change in the law and we are proud to announce that our workers have the right to request a flexible working pattern from their first day in the job, rather than having to wait six months under current employment law.
This will help colleagues strike a successful work life balance and enable them to devote enough time to childcare or caring commitments.
Additionally, we will be rebuilding the local playground to improve services to the local community, and offer a free delivery service to pensioners in the local area.
